Yeah, truth be told, this, or preferably its predecessor, the 329 with adapters, would be my choice and I believe would have a better chance of reaching the rather small large horn market.

The producer told me he never send the horn out of Chain so he don't know? If you are really interesting in it, I shall ask him for the detail.

Thinking about it, but admittedly I'm guessing a pair will be beyond my budget.

Hmm, didn't realize these were ~hi res. I hope the first picture is before finishing before the adapter is installed; then again, in the assembled picture they still look awful rough as opposed to an original's that are honed to a knife edge.

As much as I'd love to, a pair of 180+lb horns in a suitably 'bulletproof' crate shipped/insured to Atlanta would be way more than I could justify, especially since I can tar fill it myself quite cheaply.

The area where the cells join at the throat concerns me - my recollection is the Altec multicells were almost razor sharp there. These aren't even straight, much less sharp. This would drastically affect the sound.

and a collective nope was heard around the world.
The build quality would need to be addressed as GM And Todd White noted. With documented performance.
Honestly at that price they could be made here in the states at union labor rates.
